2,183 new cases and 214 deaths were reported in India.

In the last 24 hours, 2,183 new cases and 214 deaths have been reported in the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Monday morning.

214 deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 5,21,965, including 213 from Kerala, according to the latest data updated at 8 am.

The number of survivors rose to 4,25,10,773, while the mortality rate was 1.21%.

Maharashtra has 1,47,827, Kerala 68,615, Karnataka 40,057, Tamil Nadu 38,025, Delhi 26,158, Uttar Pradesh 23,500 and West Bengal 21,200 with a total of 5,21,965 deaths so far.

The total amount administered in the country so far under the Covid-19 vaccination campaign has crossed 186.54 crores.
