Authorities announced Wednesday in Brazil that a volunteer who had participated in clinical trials of the Govt-19 vaccine developed by Oxford University had died in Brazil, but media reports said he had received a placebo vaccine.

Oxford confirmed plans to continue the trial, saying in a statement that, after careful evaluation, "there is no concern about the safety of the clinical trial.

According to media reports, the 28-year-old doctor, who works at the forefront of infections that have died from complications of Govt-19, is a volunteer.
