Palestinian Death Toll Exceeds 36,700 as 77 More Killed by Israeli Forces in Gaza

The Gaza Strip's health ministry announced Friday that Israel's continued offensive has killed at least 36,731 Palestinians since October.

A further 83,530 people were injured in the attack, the ministry said in a statement.

In the last 24 hours, Israeli attacks have injured 221 people and killed 77 people, according to the statement.

UN Despite a Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has continued its brutal assault on Gaza since the October 7 Hamas attack.

Rescue workers were unable to reach many people trapped in the rubble and on the roads.

The International Court of Justice has accused Israel of genocide. In its most recent decision, the court ordered Tel Aviv to immediately cease operations in the southern city of Rafah, where more than a million Palestinians had sought safety from the war before it was invaded on May 6.

After eight months of fighting in Israel, large areas of Gaza are destroyed. People there don't have enough food, clean water, or medicine because strict rules are stopping these things from getting in.
