Bomb Threat Emails Target Three Prominent Bengaluru Hotels
On Thursday, three hotels in Bengaluru got bomb threats through email, leading authorities to start an investigation, according to TV reports. Police, bomb squads, and sniffer dogs were sent to the hotels, including the five-star Oterra hotel, to look for explosives.
The Ottera Hotel received the email at 2 am on Thursday. As soon as the staff found it, they informed the police right away, and a team quickly arrived at the hotel.

CK Baba, DCP of the South-East division in Bengaluru, said, "We are investigating who sent this email."
A police officer said that they were checking the IP address and other details of the email.
The email was sent from an unknown Gmail address, and the sender is believed to have used a VPN to hide their IP address.
The Delhi Police Special Cell is expected to register a case as they've already started investigating the incident, said the officer.
In recent weeks, many establishments in several states have received bomb threat emails.
