Israeli military has claimed that more than 140 militants were killed in the Gaza hospital operation

The military stated Thursday that in four days of fighting in and around Gaza's biggest hospital, over 140 militants have been killed, and the Israeli army's operation is ongoing.

Israel attacked the Al-Shifa medical center on Monday, aiming at what they claimed were high-ranking Hamas fighters using tank fire and airstrikes.

Fighting has been happening for several days in and around the large hospital complex, which is full of patients and displaced individuals. An earlier attack on the complex in November caused international anger.

Since the operation began, the army stated that more than 140 terrorists have been killed in the hospital area, referring to the fighting since Monday.

The military also mentioned that it is still carrying out precise operations in the Shifa hospital area. They stated that on the last day, more than 50 terrorists were killed during gunfire exchanges.
