President Joe Biden Cancels Visit to India for Republic Day, Postpones Quad Meeting

Joe Biden, the President of the United States, probably won't be coming to India next month for Republic Day, according to sources familiar with the situation.

In September, the US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited President Biden to be the special guest for the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2024.

But India has not yet commented on the invitation.

Additionally, insiders mentioned that the Quad summit is suggested to take place in India in the latter part of 2024.

We are searching for new dates because the current ones being considered don't suit all the Quad partners," said a source.
