Indian Army's attack dog Zoom was seriously injured while fighting with J&K terrorists and was hospitalized




A dog named Zoom was seriously injured in an attack by the Indian Army while fighting terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Army Veterinary Hospital in Srinagar.


During the operation, the dog recognized the terrorist and attacked them, but received two shots and was seriously injured.


But even after being attacked, Zoom continued to fight them, resulting in the death of two militants.


"Despite grievous injuries, the brave soldier continued his mission, neutralizing two terrorists."


Zoom is part of several active operations in south Kashmir, they said.


"Zoom is a highly trained, ferocious, and determined canine. Trained to find and bring down terrorists," they said.


The Indian Army's Chinar Corps took to Twitter to wish to Zoom a speedy recovery. They wrote that the Army attack dog 'Zoom' was critically injured during Operation Zoom while confronting terrorists. He is being treated at the Army Veterinary Hospital in Srinagar. We wish him a speedy recovery.



Soon, messages and wishes poured in for the hero dog. Indian Army Chinar Corps also shared a video introducing Zoom. The video shows footage of the attack dog's training sessions and his skills.



The encounter took place after the security forces conducted a cordon and search operation in the Tangpawa area of the Anantnag district on specific information about the presence of terrorists.


Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed and two soldiers were injured in the encounter.
