A hybrid terrorist was killed in an anti-terror operation in JK's Shopian

Imran Bashir, a Hybrid terrorist was arrested after two laborers were killed in a grenade blast in Shopian, Jammu, and Kashmir was killed in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir.

Clashes broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Nowgam area of Shopian, 78 hours after civilians were killed in the district. 

Incriminating items including weapons and ammunition were seized from the encounter site.

"The search operation is still going on," the police said.

"Based on the exposure of the arrested hybrid terrorist and continuous searches by police and security forces, another contact has been established between terrorists and security forces at Navgam Shopian, in which hybrid terrorist Imran Basheer Khane shot dead another terrorist. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from the hideout/contact site. A search operation is still on. In progress," the Kashmir Regional Police said in a tweet.

Based on disclosure of arrested hybrid #terrorist & in continuous raids by Police & security forces, another contact has been established between terrorists & SFs at Nowgam #Shopian, in which hybrid terrorist namely Imran Bashir Ganaie killed by firing of another terrorist. (1/2)
