1,569 new Covid-19 cases were reported in 24 hours

India has reported 1,569 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry. 

The death toll rose to 5,24,260 with 19 new deaths, and the data was updated at 8 p.m.

 A total of 2,467 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in India has dropped to 16,400, according to data from the Ministry of Health today. 

The daily positive rate was recorded at 0.44 per cent, the ministry said.

The total amount administered in the country so far under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign has exceeded 191.48 crores.
