2,503 new Covid-19 cases were reported in India.
According to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Monday, India saw a further decline in daily COVID-19 cases as 2,503 new infections were registered, the lowest since May 2020, while the number of active cases dropped to 36,168.
With the new cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 4,29,93,49.
The death toll rose to 5,15,877 with 27 new deaths, and the data was updated at 8 p.m.
So far more than 182.65 crore (1,82,65,14,930) vaccines have been provided by the Government to the States / Union Territories. By India (cost channel free) and direct state purchase type.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 5,32,232 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours and the total number of tests is approaching 78 crore.
