India records 27,254 Covid-19 cases, 219 deaths
According to the Union Health Ministry on Monday, there was an increase of 27,254 new Covid-19 cases, while the number of infections in India rose to 3,32,64,175 while it dropped to 3,74,269.
The death toll from the disease has risen to 4,42,874, with 219 deaths reported daily, as updated at 8am.
The number of active cases has dropped to 3,74,269, accounting for 1.13 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 97.54 per cent, the ministry said.
A reduction of 10,652 cases was recorded in the active COVID-19 gaslot at 24 hour intervals.
