31,382 New Covid 19 Cases and 318 death

India has reported 31,382 new corona virus infections, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 3,35,94,803, while the number of active cases has dropped to 3,00,162, the lowest in 188 days, the Union Health Ministry updated on Friday.

The death toll rose to 4,46,368 with 318 new deaths, according to data updated at 8am.

Total number of active cases in India: 3,00,162

Total number affected so far: 3,35,94,803

Total patients healed so far: 3,28,48,273

Total number of deaths due to corona: 4,46,368

The number of active patients decreased by 1,478. Since then the number of active patients nationwide has dropped to 3,00,162, the lowest in 188 days. According to the Ministry of Health, 86.6 per cent of new Covid cases have been reported from 5 states in the last 24 hours. Of these, 62.72 per cent cases were detected in Kerala alone. In Kerala, a maximum of 19,682 new cases have been reported in the last one day. Thus, 3,320 cases were registered in Maharashtra, 1,745 in Tamil Nadu, 1,257 in Mizoram and 1,171 in Andhra Pradesh.
