All religious places are closed three days a week - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The government plan to resume schools for 9, 10, 11 and twelfth standard understudies from September 1 with half participation of the understudies, at one time, under strict Covid-consistence.
Colleges that teach medicine and nursing courses will be allowed to reopen from August 16, for which the government will release a separate Sop for it.
The government has warned that action will be taken against shops that violate the Govt guidelines issued. The government had earlier said that strict orders had been issued to district collectors and police to punish violators of the epidemic rules - public individuals and companies. The coming weeks will be crucial for the DMK government to prove its prowess in mitigating the coming viral waves.
