Coronavirus LIVE: Maharashtra reports 14,317 new cases, 57 deaths in a day
India recorded 22,854 new Govt-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing the total to 11,285,561, according to the global survey. The death toll from the deadly epidemic rose to 158,189.
The total amount of Covd-19 vaccine administered in the country has crossed 2.52 crore and 9.22 lakh jobs were provided till 7 pm on Wednesday, according to the Union Health Ministry. Of the 2,52,89,693 vas administered, 71,70,519 health and 70,31,147 lead workers were given the first dose, while 39,77,407 health and 5,82,118 lead workers were given the second dose, according to a provisional report.
The global number of corona virus cases is 118,610,058. Of the 94,222,966 people who recovered, 22,630,931 lost their lives. Meanwhile, the United States continues to be the most affected country with 29,858,913 cases.
