Covid-19 vaccine from Pfizer : 90% Effective in Phase 3 Trial

The companies announced on Monday that the vaccine, developed jointly by Pfizer and Bioentech, was 90 percent effective in preventing Govt-19 infections in Phase 3 trials.

The results of the first set of our Phase 3 Covid-19 vaccine test provide early evidence of our vaccine's ability to prevent Covd-19 vaccine,Pfizer chairman and CEO Albert Bourla said in a statement.

Phase 3 Clinical Test - Final Phase - The new vaccine, PND162B2, has been available since the end of July, enrolling 43,538 participants to date, with 90 percent of them receiving the second dose of the vaccine candidate until November 8th.

Pfizer said the U.S. Food and Drug Administration needs to collect two months of safety data following the final measure to qualify for emergency use authorization, which is expected in the third week of November.
