The college was planning for an online test so understudies can step through exams from their present areas. Be that as it may, the advanced education division said tests will be held disconnected after the unwinding of lockdown in the state. 

"According to the bearings of the administration, we are getting ready for the direct of end semester assessments for conclusive year understudies during the third seven day stretch of September with the goal that the tests can be finished before this month," the regulator of assessments said in a roundabout to the provincial officials.

The circular also asked for details such as the maximum number of students to be accommodated in each zone with the exemption of colleges functioning as Covid care centres and reducing the number of students in halls from 25 to 12 to maintain social distancing.

 University sources said the exam centres would be arranged in engineering colleges located near students’ residences. For instance, a student from Coimbatore enrolled in a Chennai college would be allotted an exam centre in Coimbatore.
