President Trump says he will ban TikTok in the US today.
Our top focus this afternoon the united states has now followed India's footsteps by banning ticktok.
Trump has said that the chinese video sharing app will be banned in the United States in the next 24 hours.
American authorities had in fact raised consent over the app being used as a tool for chinese intelligence for in fact spying in the United States.
The company though has denied any links to the chinese government there were reports earlier that microsoft was in advanced talks to acquire the us operations of tiktok.
TikTok is widely used in America over 40 million americans have downloaded the app it's the third most downloaded application in fact in the United States.
India has already banned over 100 Chinese apps till now TikTok was banned in India on june 29th along with several other almost 58 other apps.
There are several countries where this chinese video sharing app has already been banned for the exact same reason that it is under the scanner in the united states and that is over privacy issues and and the charge that some of the data of consumers and of users is being shared with the chinese Government.
