Massive explosion rips through Lebanese capital Beirut

A massive explosion has torn through the lebanese capital beirut killing at least 100 people and injuring more than 4000. 

Lebanon's PM,Hassan Diab, Said 2750 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate exploded after it was  lying in a unsecured warehouse for 6 Years.

From 2014 Ammonium Nitrate is stored in the Stored in the port.Due to lack of safet measures in the port causes large explosion.

Even hours after the explosion fires were raging around the blast site helicopters were deployed and hundreds of firefighters were called in to control the blaze.

Lebanon's president convened an emergency security council meeting the council recommended that the relief work be carried out by the lebanese military.

Lebanon's cabinet will convene today to form an investigative committe this committee is expected to submit its  findings in the next five days the government promised strict punishment for those responsible for the regulatory lapses.

Report says that the welding work near the warehouse may have triggered the blast
