France Plane Crash: 11 Killed in Skydiving Accident in Tomblaine
On Sunday, at least 11 people died when a civilian plane carrying skydivers crashed in the French town of Tomblaine, close to Nancy. The aircraft broke apart in the crash, leaving a very sad and damaging scene. Local reports say that three people managed to survive by ejecting from the plane before it crashed.
French media is reporting that among the dead are the pilot, five instructors, and five students. But authorities have not yet made official the identity of the victims. Upon the report of the accident, emergency teams, including firefighters, police, and medical units, rushed to the site and began rescue and recovery operations.
