After the 5.6 magnitude earthquake in Nepal, Delhi was hit by a terrible earthquake.

Delhi and nearby areas felt strong shaking after a 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on Monday (November 6). The National Center for Seismology stated that the quake hit at 4:16 pm IST in the Himalayan region, with its epicenter at 28.89 latitude and 82.36 longitude, approximately 10 km deep.

Just two days after a strong 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal, another round of tremors arrived. These tremors were felt across Delhi NCR and different parts of Uttar Pradesh on November 3. The shaking from the earthquake on Friday had an impact on important industrial and population hubs in India.

The most recent earthquake struck Nepal at 4.14pm, in the same area where a 6.4-magnitude earthquake had hit on November 3, claiming about 155 lives in the Himalayan Country. It was the biggest earthquake in Nepal since 2015.

Nepal is a place where the earth's plates move a lot, making it very likely to have earthquakes.
