Man shoots 8 people from balcony, 2 dead. Arguments started over pets

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, a disagreement between two sets of pet dogs escalated into a clash between their owners. Tragically, two individuals lost their lives and six others sustained injuries when Rajpal Singh Rajawat, a bank security guard, fired upon his neighbors from his balcony last night, as reported by the police.

"Rajpal Singh Rajawat, working as a security guard at a Bank of Baroda branch nearby, used his licensed firearm to shoot in a neighborhood under the jurisdiction of Khajrana police station. This happened after a disagreement about pet dogs," explained Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amrendra Singh.

At 11pm in Krishna Bagh Colony, Rajawat and his neighbor Vimal Amcha, 35, were walking their dogs along a narrow lane when the two pets suddenly attacked each other.

After a while, the two had an argument. Following the argument, Rajawat went to his house on the first floor and shot Amsa with a 12 gauge gun.

Amcha ran a hair salon in the city. He died right there, along with his 27-year-old brother-in-law, Rahul Verma. The police said Rahul Verma's pregnant wife, Jyoti Verma, got hurt in the eye by pellets.

Six more people who were on the street during the fight got shot and are now in the hospital. Among them, two are in serious condition, according to the police.

Rajawat, along with his son Sudhir and another relative named Shubham, got arrested. They said a murder case has been filed against him.

Rajawat, who came from Gwalior, got a job as a security guard in Indore with a private company. The police stated that he was hired because he had a licensed 12-bore rifle.
