Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has been admitted to a hospital in Chennai two days after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
The CM has been admitted for investigation and monitoring of Covid-related symptoms, the Kaveri Hospital statement said.
MG Stalin tested positive on Tuesday.
In a tweet, he had said, "Feeling tired today and self-isolating after testing positive for Covid-19." "Let's all wear masks, get vaccinated, and stay safe," he added.
On the 11th and 12th, he attended Mr. Stalin's wedding and met Dravidar Kazhagam President Veeramani and others.
A few days ago - on the 8th and 9th Mr. Stalin attended government functions in Tiruvannamalai district without wearing a face mask despite large crowds.
PMK leader Dr. Ramadoss was also quarantined after testing positive yesterday.
