India reported 7584 Covid cases and 24 deaths 

7584 new covid-19 cases and 24 deaths have been reported in India in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday.

The number of active COVID-19 cases has risen to 36,267 and the number of deaths due to COVID to 5,24,747.

According to data shared by the Ministry, India's recovery rate is 98.70%, with 3791 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 4,26,44,092.

A total of 3,35,050 Govt-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health.

Under the National Vaccine Movement, 194.76 crore vaccines have been issued so far.

The Covid-19 vaccine for 12-14-year-olds was launched on 16 March 2022. So far, more than 3.49 (3,49,17,732) adolescents have been given the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

There are still over 13.93 crore stock and unused Covid vaccine levels in the states and Union Territories to be managed.

Earlier today, the government had said that 193.53 crores (1,93,53,58,865) vaccines had been distributed to states/union territories through the Government of India (without cost) and direct state procurement.
