The Wanted Band’s Singer Tom Parker Dies at 33 Due to Brain Cancer.

Tom Parker, a member of the British-Irish boy band The Wanted, has died of a brain tumor. He is 33 years old.

The band announced Wednesday that Parker had died, "surrounded by his family and his band of comrades."

In October 2020 Parker announced his diagnosis and underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Earlier this year, he performed on stage with the band during a much-delayed reunion tour.

The Wanted members Max George, Jay McGuiness, Siva Kaneswaran and Nathan Sykessaid their band was "devastated by the tragic and untimely loss". "He is our brother. Words cannot express the loss and grief we feel. Always in our hearts."

Created in 2009, The Wanted U.K. Number 1s featured a string of hit singles, including "All Time Low" and "Clot You Game". The members went solo in 2014 after releasing three albums, but reunited at the September 2021 concert hosted by Parker at the Royal Albert Hall in London to support cancer charities.

Parker is survived by wife Kelsey Parker, a son and a daughter.

Kelsey Parker wrote on Instagram: "Our hearts are broken, Tom was the center of our world, and we can not imagine life without his contagious smile and energetic presence."
