2 Lashkar Terrorists Killed In Jammu and Kashmir.
Two terrorists of the proscribed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba / The Resistance Front (LeD / TRF) were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning. The encounter erupted in the Rainawari area of Srinagar, according to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The Inspector-General of Kashmir said that the slain terrorists were involved in several recent terrorist crimes, including civilian killings.
One of the LeT terrorists had a media identification card (ID). The Inspector-General of Kashmir (IGP) said that this indicates misuse of media.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police tweeted, "One of the slain local terrorists of the banned terrorist organization LED had a media identity card (ID) which clearly indicates a case of media misuse: IGP Kashmir."

Kashmir Regional Police said the terrorist who carried the media card was identified as Rayees Ahmad Bhat, a former journalist. He was running an internet news website called 'Valley Media Service' in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.
He had terrorist rankings in 2021 and two FIRs have already been registered against him for terrorism offenses, police said.
Second terrorist killed was identified as Hilal Ah Rah of Bijbehara, a 'C' type terrorist, Kashmir Zone Police said.
Police said the items, including weapons and ammunition, were recovered.
