1,233 new Covid-19 cases and 31 deaths in India in the last 24 hours.

With 1,233 new coronavirus infections reported in a single day, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has risen to 4,30,23,215, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday.

The death toll rose to 5,21,101 with 31 new deaths, and the data was updated at 8 p.m.

India's Covid-19 vaccine coverage has crossed 183.79 crores.

A total of 1,876 people were discharged in India in the last 24 hours.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as of March 29, 78,85,56,935 samples have been tested for COVID-19. Of these, 6,24,022 samples were tested on Tuesday.

In the last 24 hours, 1,876 people recovered from infection.

Under the recently launched Covid vaccination campaign for children aged 12-14 years, more than 1.50 crore vaccine doses have been administered, of which 12,74,719 beneficiaries have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
