India logs 50,407 fresh Covid cases in last 24 hours.

According to data shared by the Union Ministry of Health on Saturday, there were 50,407 new cases of Covid-19 reported in India in the last 24 hours, down 13.2 percent from yesterday. This brings the total case load to 4,25,86,544.

The death toll has risen to 5,07,981, with another 804 deaths reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

A total of 1,36,962 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cured people across the country to 4,14,68,120.

In the last 24 hours, India has delivered a total of 46,82,662 doses, bringing the total number of doses administered to 1,72,29,47,688.

A total of 14,50,532 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

On Friday, more than 21.4 crore Arogya Sethu users will be able to create a unique 14-digit AYUSHMAN Bharat Health Account (ABHA) number from the processor, the Ministry of Health said.

Meanwhile, as a major relaxation for foreign travelers, countries defined as ‘endangered countries’ and other categories have been removed by the Center. The revised guidelines come into effect on February 14.
