There have been 1,07,474 new cases of corona virus reported in India, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections to 4,21,88,138, while the number of active cases has dropped to 12,25,011, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry Sunday.

There have been 865 new Covid related deaths in the last 24 hours.

  New cases in the last 24 hours

New cases have been registered after 14,48,513 trials were conducted in the last 24 hours. A total of 74.01 crore Covid tests have been conducted in India so far.

The country has so far administered 169 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses, according to the Health Ministry. More than 42 lakh (42,95,142) vaccine doses were administered until 7pm on Friday.
