Regular international flights until February 28

Regular international flights until February 28,2022.

Omicron has additionally pushed back the resumption of planned worldwide flights. They will currently be suspended until February 28, 2022, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a roundabout on Wednesday.

Expensive options will continue under the air bubbles that India now holds in more than 30 countries.

With the launch of Covid-19, regular international flights were grounded on March 23, 2020.

"This restriction does not apply to all international cargo operations and aircraft specifically approved by the DGCA," the DGCA directive said.

Shortly before the Omicron attack, the government announced that it had upgraded regular flights from December 15, 2021. However, that did not happen and there will only be expensive bubble flights for passengers until regular flights resume.

It is not yet clear when regular international flights will resume.
