Surplus water from Chittoor, one of the worst-hit areas in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday, overflowed from the Boondi reservoir in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district, causing overnight flooding. , Opened a few days ago at over 3000 cubic feet per second. In this situation, the water level from the Boondi reservoir has decreased, officials said today.


Boats have also been stopped in some parts of North Chennai to deal with the situation.
