In the last 24 hours, 45,352 new cases have been reported in India

As of 9 am, India had registered 45,352 new Covd-19 cases, raising the country's total to 32,903,289, according to updated data from the Ministry of Health.

The death toll has risen to a further 4,39,895, with another 366 people killed by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the active caseload is 3,99,778, which is 1.22% of the total cases.

The recovery rate is currently 97.45%. A total of 34,791 discharges in the last 24 hours increased the total recovery to 3,20,63,616.

According to a ministry release, the weekly positive rate is 2.66%, down from 3% in the last 70 days, and the daily positive rate is 2.72%.

According to the Medical Research Council of India (ICMR), so far 52.65 crore samples have been tested in the country to detect Covid -19.

Under the nationwide vaccination drive, 67.09 crore vaccines have been distributed so far.
