In the last 24 hours, 25,404 new cases have been reported in India

On Tuesday, India registered 25,404 new cases of Covd in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of corona viruses in the country to 33,289,579, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said at 9 am.

This is the third day that the number of daily cases is less than 30,000. Yesterday, 27,254 new cases were reported daily in the country.

In the space of 24 hours, another 339 people died due to Covid-19, bringing the death toll to 4,43,213.

The number of active cases has dropped to 3,62,207, accounting for 1.09 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate is 97.58 per cent, the ministry said.

The number of survivors rose to 3,24,84,159, while the death rate was 1.33 percent.

The total number of Govt-19 vaccines administered in the country so far under the nationwide vaccination drive has reached 75.22 crore, the ministry said.
