26,041 New Covid-19 Cases In India

With 26,041 new Govt cases reported in the last 24 hours, India's daily figure is eight per cent lower than yesterday. Recent data from the Ministry of Health show that active cases make up less than 1 percent of all cases.

In the last 24 hours, 276 deaths due to Covid have been reported in India. So far, 4,47,194 people have died from the coronavirus. More than 3.36 crore people have been affected.

In Kerala, 15,591 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, alarming nationally.

Maharashtra, which has allowed all theaters and places of worship to open since next month, has reported 3,206 cases.

India has so far provided more than 86 crore vaccines. The government aims to have 108 crore adults fully vaccinated by the end of this year.

Worldwide, corona affects 23 million people. More than 47 lakh people have died.
