23,529 new Covid -19 cases reported in India

India has reported 23,529 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, an increase of 24 per cent over yesterday with less than 20,000 cases. At least 311 people have died from corona in the last 24 hours.

The total number of corona virus cases with new infections rose to 3,37,39,980, while the death toll rose to 4,48,062. Active cases accounted for 0.82 percent of total epidemics, the lowest since March 2020 - the current caseload is 2,77,020.

Kerala, which leads the state in daily Covid cases, recorded 12,161 new Covid-19 cases and 155 deaths, taking the case to 46,64,971 and the death toll to 24,965.

There are 1,624 new Covid-19 cases reported in Tamil Nadu, with a total caseload of 26,62,177 and 24 deaths of 35,550.

The state of Punjab has reported one cow related death and 26 new cases, bringing the total number of corona virus cases reported so far in the state to 6,01,600. The death toll rose to 16,513.

Uttar Pradesh has recorded eight Covid-19 cases and one death due to the disease, with the state having a death toll of 22,892 and an infection number of 17,09,800.
