Delta Plus and3 other types of corona virus pose a threat

The corona virus, since it erupted last year, has undergone several mutations. Some of them are very harmful. The past year and a half has seen the world catching up with the corona virus disease (Covt-19), which has seen hundreds of deaths and closure of the economy. Further aggravating the problem are mutations in the corona virus, which make it even more deadly.

The current cause for concern in India and around the world is the delta plus variant of the corona virus. The most contagious variant is believed to be some vaccines and treatments, experts say.

Delta Plus is a modified version of the Delta variant, first seen in India in December 2020. So far, the government says it has been diagnosed in 12 states and has killed nearly 50 lives.

But other than that, there are other types - although they are not pronounced as delta plus - that affect the population and bring the economy back to the brink of collapse.

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the main types of that corona virus are: alpha, beta and delta.
