Kerala govt allows cinema theatre to re-open from 5 January

Kerala government on Friday declared that it has permitted to re-open film lobbies and theater from 5 January with a large portion of the seating limit inside the corridors after a hole of more than nine months in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak.

Kerala Chief Minister Binarayi Vijayan further said that the state government has allowed festive celebrations in places of worship with a small number of spectators.

"Kerala is fully prepared for the vaccine," he said
