UAE PM Sheikh Mohammed receives Chinese Vaccine

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Dubai, received the corona virus vaccine on Tuesday.

Sheikh Mohammed took to Twitter to share the news with a photo of himself receiving a shot of the Covid-19 vaccine.

When receiving the Covit-19 vaccine today. We want safety and better health for all, and we are proud of our teams who have worked tirelessly to make the vaccine available in the United Arab Emirates. The future in the United Arab Emirates will always be better, ”he wrote in his post.

 As indicated by an Al Jazeera report, Sheik Mohammed got an injection of the Covid-19 Vaccine developed by  Chinese state pharmaceutical giant Sinopharm.

In September, Bahrain announced that Crown Prince Salman was taking part in the third phase of testing for the Sinopharm vaccine.
