ISRO successfully launches Earth Observation Satellite (EOS01)
The previous missile - the GSAT-30 telecommunications satellite - was completed in January, but it came from a base in French Guinea.
The launch took place at 3.12pm after a 26-hour countdown. ISRO sources said the launch was delayed by 10 minutes due to bad weather and debris on the runway.

At 3.34pm, ISRO said the customer satellites were disassembled and launched into their intended orbit. Six minutes ago, the space agency announced that India's EOS-01 satellite PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) had been launched into orbit from the fourth stage of the rocket.
I congratulate @ISRO and India's space industry for the successful launch of PSLV-C49/EOS-01 Mission today. In the time of COVID-19, our scientists overcame many constraints to meet the deadline.
