Republic TV, Arnab Goswami In Dock For TRP Fraud:

Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh today termed the conspiracy by the TRP to increase the ratings and advertising revenue exposed by the Mumbai Police as a pan-India scam. 

In an interview with India Today TV, the Mumbai police boss said his group had proof against three TV news channels, Republic TV, Fakt Marathi and Box Cinema - which they gauge were associated with house misrepresentation and pay off in Mumbai.

"This is a pan-India scam. There are about 2,000 Park (Broadcast Observer Research Council) barometers in Mumbai and about 30,000 barometers across the country. Is relevant, "said Param Bir Singh.
