News now from Chennai and nearly 700 tons of seized Ammonium Nitrate explosives is under a customs custody.It has been stored outside of Chennai.

Customs officials have confirmed that 697 tons of Ammonium Nitrate is under their custody at a Depot outside Chennai,

This was seized from an illegal importer in the year 2015 and ever since it's being put they say the legal tussle with only ended in the month of November last year now they are the process of finalizing the e auction of these explosives and they Take it will be over in a matter of few months and they deny that there's been any kind of delay and disposing this.

The Port Authorities deny that it's inside the Chennai Port, but certainly it is a huge risk considering the kind of Devastation a similar blast in Bureau killed at least a hundred thirty-five people the other day a couple of days ago that's the worry now.

 But the officials saying it's under safe custody, but efforts are underway to dispose them.
