Kerala : 30 kg Gold Seized

Customs seize 30 kg gold from diplomatic baggage in Kerala.

The customs seized around 30 kg gold from an air cargo meant for the UAE consulate in Thiruvananthapuram.

The smuggling of 30 kg gold through diplomatic channel in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram in National Investigation Agency or NIA in Kochi.

After investigation Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair are taking to were taken into custody.After that covid 19 test has been conducted them.The Court will consider NIA's demand for their 10-day custody. On Sunday the duo was remanded to three days judicial custody.

 The investigation agency registered an FIR against Sarith Kumar, Swapna Suresh, Fazil Fareed, Sandeep Nair, and others and slapped various sections of the Unlawful Activities  Act, 1967 against the aforesaid individuals.
