Oppenheimer Dominates Oscars 2024 with Triple Win for Best Actor, Best Film, and Best Director


The Big Movie Awards was held on March 10, 2024, at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The organizers of the show the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) set it up. The always hilarious Jimmy Kimmel was the host. The event is to say "great job" to the best movies and actors of 2023.


The night was all about a movie that delved into history. Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer," exploring J. Robert Oppenheimer's life and the atomic bomb's development, took center stage at the awards. It secured a remarkable seven victories, including the most sought-after: Best Picture and Best Director for Nolan.


The film received a maximum of 13 nominations at the 2024 Oscars. And guess what? It won Best Supporting Actor, which went to Robert Downey Jr., but it also won for Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score. A night for them!


Emma Stone won Best Actress for her role as Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos' "Poor Things."It also won awards in several design-based categories, including Best Costume Design, Best Product Design, and Best Makeup and Hairstyling.


Da'Vine Joy Randolph got the award for Best Supporting Actress for her part in "The Holdovers."
