4,575 new Covid cases and 145 death reported in India

4575 Covid-19 cases have been registered in India; 145 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours.

A total of 4,575 new Covid-19 infections have been reported in India today, bringing the total number of Covid to 4,29,75,883. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of active cases has dropped to 46,962.

With 145 new deaths, the death toll has risen to 5,15,355 so far. Of the new deaths, 100 death reported in Kerala.

According to the Union Health  Ministry, a total of 8,97,904 tests have been conducted across the country.

A total of 179.33 crore vaccine doses have so far been distributed to eligible beneficiaries under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive. Over 18.69 lakh Govt vaccine doses have been given in the last 24 hours.

India’s recovery rate is 98.69 per cent and India has so far conducted a total of 77.52 crore tests.
