3,993 new Covid cases reported in India, the lowest in 662 days.

A total of 3,993 new Covid-19 infections have been reported in India today, bringing the total number of Covid cases to 4,29,71,308. The number of active cases has dropped to 49,948, according to data from the Union Heath Ministry.

With 108 new deaths, the death toll has risen to 5,15,210 so far.

 Last day, India's daily new cases fell below 4,000. On 15 May 2020, 3,967 new cases were registered in the country. Daily COVID-19 cases are less than one million for 30 consecutive days, and this is the second day the number of new cases is less than 5,000.
