India has lifted restrictions on the number of Ukrainian flights amid rising tensions.

A senior official said the Ministry of Civil Aviation had lifted restrictions on the number of flights that could be operated between India and Ukraine under the bilateral air bubble arrangement to facilitate Indians' travel from Eastern European countries. Amid the escalating tensions with Russia and the situation in Ukraine, India has advised its citizens to temporarily leave Ukraine.

The Russian military is increasing on the borders of Ukraine, and Western nations have warned that Estonian war groups are moving ahead with an offensive that could occupy "key terrain", contrary to Moscow's retreat insistence. Also armored vehicles, helicopters and a field hospital were spotted, the head of Britain's security intelligence said in a rare public comment.

A senior official in the administration of US President Joe Biden said without providing evidence that up to 7,000 troops have crossed the border in recent days, some of which arrived on Wednesday.
