A flyover under construction at Mumbai's Bandra Kurla complex collapsed, injuring 14 people
Fourteen people were slightly injured when a section of a flyover under construction collapsed in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla complex early Friday morning.
The incident was reported at around 4.40am, a fire department official said. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
No one was missing and no casualties have been reported so far, police official Manjunath Singh said
A flyover will be constructed at the MTNL junction in the suburban Bandra Kurla Complex (PKC) connecting the main road of the complex and the Santa Cruz-Chembur Link Road.
The construction of the flyover is being carried out by the Mumbai Metropolitan Zonal Development Authority (MMRDA).
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) added that a total of 14 people were injured. However, the condition of all the injured is stable.
