Delhi breaks all records in daily Covid-19 cases

Delhi has registered 10,732 cases in 24 hours, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal  told a news conference on Sunday. Prior to this, on November 11, 2020, Delhi saw 8,593 epidemics in a single day.

The national capital, Delhi, reported 24 cases of covid-19 in a 24-hour period, with 10,732 new infections reported on Sunday. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said it was a bad situation and urged the people of Delhi to be careful.

Today, in a span of 24 hours, 10,732 cases have been reported in Delhi. It will be published in the evening health bulletin. This shows how fast Govt-19 is spreading in the national capital, ”Kejriwal told a news conference.

"As of mid-March, Delhi had registered less than 200 new infections in 24 hours. Yesterday, 7,897 new cases were reported. Before that, the number was over 8,500," he added.

The situation is worrying and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government is keeping an eye on the situation, the chief minister said. Kejriwal again rejected a lockout saying it should be imposed only if the hospital system collapses.
