Maharashtra reports 28,699 new cases

The Narendra Modi government has changed the immunization rules, which will come into effect from April 1. It comes on a day when India has detected about 40,000 new Govt-19 infections in the last 24 hours.

Another important area is the ‘R’ factor. This is another term used by health professionals to understand the rate at which an infected person spreads the virus. Over the past 10 days, this ‘R’ factor has also increased. The same is true of the positive ratio. Another important thing is that the number of Govt deaths has increased. The WHO has also said that more people are dying from viral complications.

Nationally, Maharashtra, Punjab and Kerala are the three major contributors in terms of cases pending in India. About 75% of the total cases of Covid-19 infection are reported from these states. As a small relief, another Health Ministry update states that 14 states and UTs have not yet reported any deaths related to corona virus infection in the last 24 hours.
