Suresh Raina Returns India Due To ‘Personal Reasons’, Ruled Out Of IPL 2020

Two players and 11 others have tried positive for COVID-19 in the wake of showing up in the United Arab Emirates for the Indian Premier League (IPL), while all-rounder Suresh Raina has pulled out of the competition for individual reasons.

"Thirteen faculty have tried positive of which two are players," the board said in an announcement. 

"All the influenced staff just as their nearby contacts are asymptomatic and have been confined from other colleagues. They are being observed by the IPL Medical Team. 

"According to the IPL 2020 wellbeing and security conventions, testing on all members will be led consistently all through the IPL 2020 season."

Issues mounted for the establishment when expert batsman Suresh Raina chose to leave UAE and come back to India after he was frustrated with the lodging he was given.
